2017 Healthy Holiday Gift Guide: for kids!

Hi Beauties!

After releasing my annual Healthy Holiday Gift Guide on Monday I received a lot of requests for a kids edition…so here it is! 🙂

This gift guide includes some of my favorite products for raising healthy kids. All of which I use and love. I hope you find it helpful!

1.Pura Stainless Sippy Cups & Water Bottles

I’ve been using Pura Stainless since my daughter was just a baby. I love that they are 100% plastic-free and transition from bottle to sippy to straw to water bottle. About a year ago I tossed all of our random sippy cups and invested in 4 of these (2 for each kid). We use them daily and I can’t recommend them enough!

2. What A Good Eater!

I love the approach and recipes in this cookbook. I had the pleasure of getting to know one of the authors while living in Colorado and I am continually inspired by her balanced, realistic approach to raising healthy, open-minded eaters.

3. Stainless Steel Smoothie Cups

We use these cups for smoothies in our house. I appreciate that they are plastic-free, eco-friendly and durable.

4. Gaiam Kids Yoga Mats

I love these fun little mats – and also love that they’re “6P free” (free of the phthalates dehp, dbp, bbp, dinp, didp and DNOP).

5. PlanetBox Rover Lunch Boxes

If you’ve been around for awhile, you know I LOVE our PlanetBox lunch boxes. They are an investment up front, but they will last you years and years. Ours still look good as new! My kids love them, it makes lunch packing EASY and fun for me, and they’re made out of safe, non-toxic, and recycled materials – safe from lead, PVC, phthalates, or BPA

6. Strider Bikes

My daughter received a Strider Bike for her 2nd birthday and has been cruising around the neighborhood ever since! My son is now joining her and I am so amazed how quickly kids learn how to use these bikes. The Strider Bike teaches kids to stride, steer and balance without the complexity of pedals – which makes the transition to a true bike much less intimidating. They’re lightweight, built to last and easy to throw in the car for active family adventures around town.

7. Re-Play Divided Plates

We’ve been using these plates for 3 years and they still look brand new! They’re easy to clean, made in the USA, made from FDA approved Recycled Milk Jugs, and BPA, Phthalate, PVC and Melamine free.

8. Melissa & Doug Cutting Food Play Set

Melissa & Doug is my favorite brand of toys and we have a handful of different sets. This one is great for inspiring your little one to cook and prepare healthy foods! It also provides great opportunities to discuss nourishing foods and how important they are to fuel growing bodies.

Wishing you and your family happy holidays!

xo,

  1. Love 6, 7, and 8! Does anyone use Planet Boxes for elementary aged kids? I want to know I can use them for years to come (mine are currently 4 and 7).
