A Balanced Life Baby

So if you missed the news in The Balanced Life newsletter or on the Facebook page the other day, I have an exciting announcement to share with you.

A Balanced Life baby is on the way!

I couldn’t be happier and am so excited for this new adventure. So far the pregnancy has been a joy (with the exception of a few terrible weeks during the first trimester) and I can’t wait to share certain parts of this new journey with you here on The Balanced Life.

Don’t worry, this won’t turn into a full-on baby blog but there are so many fascinating things that happen within the body as it relates to healthy living and Pilates that I will certainly be sharing some experiences, tips and exercises from time to time.

I’m still doing Pilates (and yoga) regularly but I’m sad to say the running had to go. I miss my runs! Perhaps the most interesting experience for me thus far has been my changing relationship with my body, my body image and food. More on this to come…

  1. Yay! Congrats Robin– I also had to give up running, somehow my body just couldn’t keep it up. I’m doing yoga and walks and hikes. But I’d love to know how to do pregnant mamas keep their core strong when we can’t lie on our backs for too long??? ideas?
