As a Pilates instructor, I’m often asked what the BEST exercise is to build strong abs. While Pilates is full of great exercises for the abdominals, if I had to narrow it down to one exercise, it would definitely be the Pilates plank (also known as front support).
The Pilates plank is one of the most efficient exercises to build a strong core (as a bonus, it does wonders for your arms and shoulders too!)
When done correctly, it’s truly a full body workout. Sneak a plank into every workout and you’ll feel yourself getting stronger in no time.
