Happy Friday, beauties!
We are officially 3 days out from the start of #mindbodymat! I’m so excited I can hardly stand it.
We’ll be kicking things off here on the blog first thing Monday morning.

The Pilates Summer Series had over 4,000 women signed up so I have no doubt that this challenge will be full of dedicated Balanced Life beauties ready to cheer each other on. I encourage you all to dive in, participate and have fun with it!
Think of this as your mid-year “reset.”
It’s an opportunity to hit the pause button, refocus and refresh your body & mind before the busy Fall season begins.
We’re going to do a little bit each day to care for our well-being both on and off the mat.

Before we get started, here’s what you need to know:
Is it really free?
YES! Totally free.
While there is an opportunity to upgrade and maximize your results, it’s definitely not required.
The upgrade option is for those of you who love Pilates and want longer (20 minute), full-body workouts that you can do over the weekend or after the program concludes (fully downloadable and yours to keep forever).
The upgrade also includes goal setting worksheets, a Fall vision guide, and a guide to personal balance & values so if you really want to see changes this month, be sure to check it out. (it’s only $27 and 10% of all proceeds go to support Women For Women International).
Regardless of which option you choose I want you to commit.
I’m a big fan of PAID programs because when you have a little skin in the game you’re more likely to stick with it and see results.
So your “skin in the game” will be checking in with me each day. I encourage you to show me proof of your daily workout and/or self-care challenge on Facebook, Instagram and/or Twitter so that I know you’re out there and keeping up with the program.

With every workout I’ll share a daily self-care challenge for you to complete. For your daily check-in use the hashtag #mindbodymat so we can cheer each other on and finish what we start.

Where will the workouts be posted?
Right here on The Balanced Life. Check back every morning to access your new workout and see your daily self-care challenge.
Do I need any extra equipment?
Nope! Just you, access to the internet, and your mat.
Although one day I may have you use water/wine bottles for weights. 🙂
Is there a workout schedule?
Yes. I’ll be sending it out on Friday morning so make sure you’re on this list to get the scoop.
What should I eat?
There’s no denying that what you put in your body affects the way you look and feel. While this challenge doesn’t have a specific meal plan component I’ll still be sharing TONS of recipes here on the blog and on the official #mindbodymat Pinterest board. You’ll have plenty of inspiration to nourish your body from the inside out.

No, there are 3, 20-minute videos. I send you a new one each Friday so that you can continue your workouts over the weekend. 🙂
Looking forward to this! I just finished a backpacking trip (reached the summit of Mt.Whitney last Friday) and could really use some stretching workouts! I haven’t done Pilates in a long time so I can’t wait to get back into it. 🙂

I am so excited to be back at this! I was just able to get signed up and I was hoping I could still get the workout schedule . Am I to late ? I loved checking it off every day for the Pilates Summer Series 🙂
