I can’t believe we’re concluding another week of the Pilates Summer Series. Time is FLYING! Which means summer is almost here so that’s not such a bad thing. 🙂
I’m so excited to introduce you to our fabulous guest-instructor today.
Meet Lauren Hefez…
Lauren is known for her high energy and spunky personality. Lauren is a sought after group fitness instructor and personal trainer in Boston and was named one of the “Five Fab Fitness Gurus to Follow On YouTube” by Teen Vogue! Through her YouTube channel and blog Lauren is able to connect with and energize people all over the globe. Her teaching style is inspired by her many years of dance training.
It’s been so fun working with Lauren to bring you this high-energy, total-body-toning routine. She is so sweet and so positive. Her personality shines through within minutes of working out with her.
Lauren is taking you the beach in Nice, France today. What better way to end your week than with a little workout on the Mediterranean Sea?

I’m really liking these guest instructor days for the chance to encounter new teachers with their own unique workout styles.
Whew! That was quick and intense! Loving these workouts. The #PilatesSummerSeries challenged me to find a routine that works for exercising. I think I’ve finally gotten it down into my routine! Thank you!

I am loving these workouts! My question is -what type of cardio, if any, do you do in addition to Pilates?

These days I do almost ALL Pilates. Very little cardio other than walking. But I do run, I just haven’t been doing so lately because of weather and not enough time! Check out my post titled “will Pilates help me lose weight” to hear more about my perspective on cardio for weight loss. 🙂 xo
