Hi Beauties!
Sometimes you just need a good sweat right?
As many of you know, I love to incorporate HIIT workouts into my routine much like Pilates, they are quick, effective, and efficient.
HIIT stands for High Intensity Interval Training and here’s a quick summary of the benefits:
HIIT, or high-intensity interval training, is a training technique in which you give all-out, one hundred percent effort through quick, intense bursts of exercise, followed by short, sometimes active, recovery periods. This type of training gets and keeps your heart rate up and burns more fat in less time. “A high-intensity workout increases the body’s need for oxygen during the effort and creates an oxygen shortage, causing your body to ask for more oxygen during recovery,” says Eric Salvador, NASM, NSCA, head instructor at The Fhitting Room in New York City. “This afterburn effect is referred to as excess post-exercise oxygen consumption (EPOC) and is the reason why intense exercise will help burn more fat and calories than regular aerobic and steady-state workouts.” – The Daily Burn
HIIT workouts are great for:
- burning calories
- improving cardiovascular health
- boosting metabolism
- building muscles
- getting the most bang for your buck

This was great! I have been wanting to incorporate a HIIT Routine a couple times a week but wasn’t sure where to start. Thank you!
Thanks for sharing this! I had been watching the HIIT video from your 30 day challenge. This really helps.
Please do continue sharing creative and effective ways to incorporate cardio and Pilates!
Blessings to you Robin!
That was great
Thank you so much for doing this! It was nice and quick and got my heart rate up! I don’t know how you did that in the sand, but nice work!
Thanks for this HIIT Workout! I wanted a little something more today, and this did the trick.
Oh my gosh. This was more than I could do, but I did my best. This is a good goal for this year. I have read a lot about HIIT routines, but I just can’t do it yet 🙂 Thank you for the challenge. Give me PILATES!!
Sooo good!! Modified some, but did it right after the upper back from the 30 day challenge!!! Love getting my heart rate up, even if I can’t breath!!!
This was killer. Fantastic!!!
I hated and loved this at the same time. I will be it doing again and again to improve! Thanks! 🙂
That’s the attitude, Char! Being challenged is a good thing, as it reminds us that we have something to work towards. Keep it up! ??
