Hi Beauties,
With only 2 days left of the challenge it’s time to finish strong. Today’s booty workout will hurt so good and our Self-Care Challenge is guaranteed to lighten your load.
Self-Care Challenge…
You know that thing that has been on your To Do list FOREVER? It’s time to just get it done. Rather than thinking about it (stressing about it) day in and day out just put your game face on and get it done.
For me it’s calling the insurance company to straighten out a bill. We had to take my daughter in to the ER a few months ago (everything was fine in the end) and we have a bill that keeps bouncing back and forth between us and the insurance company. I’ve been putting it off and putting it off. But today’s the day my friends.
Once it’s done I know I’ll feel better. I’m willing to bet there is something that you’ve been avoiding too. Maybe it’s sorting through old clothes, reconciling with a friend, or finally making that dentist appointment>
I’m not sure what yours is but I am sure that keeping it on your list is adding unnecessary stress to your plate. So today let’s all tackle that one nagging task and move on. You with me?
Let’s Workout…
I’ve learned that booty day is a favorite day for many of you.
This Pilates glute workout will make you work in the best kind of way. Keep in mind that although we’re focusing on the booty muscles, everything else should still be engaged. So your abs should be drawing in and up, your shoulders should be wide and strong on your back and your legs should be active and long.
Enjoy!
(note: if you can’t see today’s video copy and paste the above link into your browser.)
Today’s Check-In: show me proof that you’ve tackled that nagging task. It will feel SO good! Be sure to tag me and use the hashtag #mindbodymat.
xo,
PS – If you’re interested in The Pilates Body Program I’ll be sharing more details officially opening registration tomorrow morning. Space is limited and it ALWAYS sells out so be sure to act fast. Can’t wait to keep this good thing going! 🙂

Thank YOU Bec! So glad you joined me. 🙂
Robin—this workout rocks!!! I’m feeling good today 🙂
Thanks Jordan! So glad you’re still going strong. 🙂
It looks like I would be able to change my life style to be the better one as I go through the bite size Pilate with you. Thank you. Love the burn! #mindbodymat
So glad to hear that Yuko! Keep it up my friend! xo
hey Robin, is the program for Sept. A new version from the summer Pilates Body and are there new recipes, or are they what I already have?
Hi Deborah! It’s the same program that you went through already. I have a handful of second-timers each time because they desire the accountability, email support and Facebook group. But the material will be the same. I offer 1/2 price for all you second timers. Email me if you’re interested. 🙂
xo
Great workouts! With a new school year staring at week two, it gave me the energy to get up and out with a special treat waiting for me when the school run ended! Looking forward to the next cgallenge!
Oh so glad to hear that!
Thanks Robin! Looking forward to the upgrade workout tomorrow 🙂
Also, during those first glute workouts it almost feels like the hip muslce is cramping. Like its connected to the bone. If I keep doing those will that eventually go away?
Ooh, you will love it Gina – Cardio Pilates! 🙂 I think the “cramping” that you’re referring to is pretty normal – especially if you are new to the exercises. Just do what you can and adjust for comfort. If it hurts beyond “tired muscle hurt” then stop. 🙂
Robin,
I’ve been following the entire 3 weeks – thank you so much for this mindbodymat series. It’s hard to explain how much it has helped me, both mentally and physically, but when some days got rough, I always, always looked forward to your videos.
It was my first mindbodymat series and I look forward to many more.
Thanks for sharing Erin! I’m so glad you enjoyed it and that you looked forward to the videos each day. Stick around because i will continue to put out new stuff in the months and days to come! xo
Robin,
Thank you so much for the #mindbodymat. it has been really fun and the time has really flown by. I’m sad that today was the last workout from you.
Thanks Robin! I loved this series and your summer series! I am also a Pilates Instructor and start teaching a community class next week. I can’t wait to share some of your different exercises with them!
Booty days are definitely my favorite too! So sad this is wrapping up but planning to build on this success with the PBP! I can’t wait!
Robin, thank you thank you thank you for all of these challenges you put on for us – for free!!!! I know they take a lot of time and energy on your part. You are amazing and very appreciated. Have a wonderful weekend.
Oh Robin, it makes me so sad that this was the last video with you. But, I do plan to just keep going back and doing them over and over again and also have my videos from the upgrade that are downloaded. (along with all your other great YouTube videos) You have been such a wonderful teacher and motivator. I have completely re-devoted myself to self-care both mentally and physically and have changed my eating habits right along with it. A new Yoga/Pilates Studio is opening near by and I have decided that I am going to do some work there as a work study which will let me have unlimited free classes there so I can continue on my path to better health. I will be working there in the evenings after my full time job a few nights a week and think it will be so great to be around like-minded people with the same goals. Thank you for bringing out the drive in me to want to take this step. Keep up your great blog and thanks again for all that you do for us 🙂
