Hey SugarSNAP!

Organization and preparation are 2 key elements in achieving a balanced life.

When I coach my clients online, I place a huge emphasis on the importance of prepping for the week ahead (planning workouts, grocery shopping, batch cooking, etc.).

“Failure to prepare is preparing to fail.” – John Wooden

That is why I LOVE the concept behind Hey SugarSNAP’s products.

First, I have to brag. I was lucky enough to train one of the founders, Tarah Evans, while living in the bay area. I say “lucky enough” because Tarah is a gem. She is one of a kind. She’s caring, passionate, thoughtful, driven and hilarious. Just writing this makes me miss our Tuesday/Thursday sessions together!

Tarah and her friend, Stacy, co-founded the Hey SugarSNAP while they were both new mothers of twins trying to keep it all together. You can read their serendipitous story here.

They currently have 2 brilliant products on the market: The SugarSNAP Files and The Car-Go System.

what to pack in a diaper bag

The SugarSNAP Files are made to fit easily inside your diaper bag to prevent it from becoming a big black hole. There are 5 zippered pouches with helpful labels so you know right where to go when baby is screaming and you need a pacifier stat. Can I get an amen?

As a first-time mom this has already been so helpful for me as I prepare for my little one to arrive. Let’s be honest, I have NO idea what’s supposed to go in a diaper bag! But Hey SugarSNAP even went as far as including a helpful packing list to make sure you have everything you need for a day out. Brilliant.

They also included encouraging little notes within the files that I’m sure will come in handy when I feel like I have no idea what I’m doing and the world’s about to end.

The Car-Go System is similar to the SugarSNAP Files but made for your car. It fits perfectly in the trunk and acts as a “home base” for your family’s gear while you’re out and about. There are files for extra clothing, snacks, dipes & wipes, etc. There’s also extra space for anything else you may need to easily locate while on-the-go.

What I love about these products is they will serve a great purpose from newborn stage all the way up through childhood.

As a first time mom it’s a great gift to have these organizers and helpful lists from moms who have “been there, done that.” It creates a peace of mind that is hard to come by in these final weeks 🙂

There is so much that we can’t control when it comes to becoming a mother so it’s nice to feel that in one tiny area of life I can organize, prepare and set yourself myself up for success.

I can’t recommend Hey SugarSNAP’s products enough. Be sure to check out their website and browse around for yourself. You’ll also get a good laugh throughout the week by following them on Facebook and Twitter.

  1. Thank you for the awesome review and beautiful pics! I do have to laugh at the family photo though, it was taken almost two years ago and my little babies are now almost five-and-a-half and look NOTHING like that anymore! Times flies 🙂

  2. Love this Robin! I am anxiously awaiting my sugarSNAP files for my messenger bag, great way to organize my life!
