Happy Monday!
Did you have a nice weekend?
I spent most of mine working around the house trying to get boxes unpacked and furniture arranged. We have house guests coming this week so it inspired us to get to work fast. It’s exciting and fun getting settled into our new house, but also tiring.
We’ve been building this house for the past 8 months so it feels really good to finally get in and get settled.
I am in LOVE with the kitchen. I’ve always wanted a white kitchen so it feels like a little dream come true. I still want to add a backsplash and hardware, but for now, I’m having so much fun cooking and can’t wait to start hosting. We’ve always had small, funky kitchens so this feels like a big change. One that I welcome. 🙂
I spent the weekend in my new favorite outfit from Soybu. I may or may not have worn it both Saturday and Sunday (am I the only one who does that?).
The weather is finally nice enough in Colorado to pull out the maxi dresses. Praise the Lord. And this layering piece is perfect to transition from the cool mornings to hot afternoons.
Blake has been so patient while we’ve been working/unpacking so we made sure to take her to the park yesterday for some good quality play time.
This is is the Dhara Dress in Santorini. I also have it in black. I love the fit, comfort and material. I get picky about my maxi dresses so when I find one I love I buy it in multiple colors. I also have my eyes on the Mykonos pattern. Such fun colors.
The top is the Gigi Pullover in “storm.” I wear this on the weekends and to Pilates. I love how lightweight it is.
I’m a community leader for Soybu and really support the company and what they represent. I’ll be hosting an in-store event soon, so local friends, stay tuned!
Okay, onto my new favorite smoothie….
Strawberry-Banana-Chia Smoothie
This has been hitting the spot and satisfying my sweet tooth as of late. I hope you love it too.
serves: 2-3
Ingredients:
2 cups unsweetened vanilla almond milk
1 frozen banana (ripe)
7 frozen or fresh strawberries (large)
1 teaspoon raw honey
1 tsp chia seeds (soaked overnight in a bit of water if possible)
4 ice cubes
Directions: blend & enjoy!
I’ll be back here on Wednesday with a fun announcement, so be sure to check back. 🙂
xo,
PS – why not challenge yourself to do a little Pilates every day this week? Check out my “Monday – Friday Pilates Challenge” playlist on YouTube. It’s a great way to start or end your day. 🙂

Congrats on your new house! Your kitchen is beautiful. Enjoy every minute in there.
Congrats on your new house! The kitchen looks gorgeous. I too, dream of having a white kitchen someday. 😉
Love that kitchen! That is the only room in our house that we still need to renovate, so these pictures inspire me :). And I need to check out that dress!
What brand of almond milk do you use? Thanks!
In a perfect world, I make my own. But that only happens about once per month. 🙂 So I use Whole Foods, Sylk or Sprouts brand (all are free of carrageenan).
Thanks Robin! I have thought about making my own but I know it’s just not going to happen.
