When it comes to our health, we all have beliefs that may be holding us back from being the healthiest versions of ourselves. Sometimes we have to learn from those mistakes to grow, but sometimes we get an outside perspective so we don’t have to make the same mistakes.
Today, Robin shares the biggest mistakes she’s made in her fitness journey that held her back from being the healthiest version of herself. In this episode, she discusses many beliefs she had that proved to not only be untrue, but detrimental to her growth. She also shares the importance of nourishing your body and how to positively connect with your body to improve your physical and mental health.

Loved the podcast – I’ve made many of those mistakes too. I feel like I’ve watched my weight my whole life – always either dieting and or hitting the gym. Now- I just want to be healthy and be able to live the best life I can – travel, run after my granddaughter , and maintain my strength and balance as I get older . I am a certified yoga teacher and pretty new to the sisterhood ( two months now)- and am so happy to have started this journey. Thank you for reminding me to take time for me- this is something that wasn’t always easy for me. Would I like a slimmer body – sure – but it’s not my main focus anymore. Taking time for me to just do something each day that makes me feel nourished is awesome. Thank you Robin, I’m so glad to be a part of the sisterhood !!
Lorraine, we’re so grateful that you’re a part of The Sisterhood! You should feel so proud of yourself for taking the time to do something each day that makes you feel good. Thank you for sharing ❤️❤️
Thank you Robin. A timely reminder that this could have been me talking! I look back at the pictures of my younger self and think what a waste of energy it was, desperately trying to look stick thin when I was already slim!
Well now I am 71. I have been with the Sisterhood for 3 months and , despite physical limitations ( I know now they are not important) I look forward to my daily Pilates with you. It has become part of my routine, part of my quest to be the healthiest I can be, regardless of age. Bless you Robin, xx
Thank you, Linda! I am so happy to hear that Pilates has become a part of your daily life and is helping you be the healthiest you can be ❤️ We’re grateful to have you be a part of The Sisterhood!
