A lot of you have been requesting more workouts using the Pilates ring so I’m excited to share that a new 10-minute Pilates ring workout is up on my YouTube channel!
The ring (also known as the magic circle) can be used to modify exercises or make them more challenging. It’s an incredibly versatile and lightweight tool that allows you to incorporate resistance training into your routine without heavy weights.
I love the way the ring provides feedback; using it during a workout can help you engage the proper muscles, adjust your alignment, and correct imbalances.
This quick routine will tone, shape, and strengthen your entire body.

I was recently looking at purchasing a ring, but was amazed at how many options there are. Are there certain things you look for and want in a ring? Do you have one you really love? Thanks!! P.S., I love your reformer workout and love being in the Sisterhood!!
Hi Amy! My favorite ring is the Ultra-Fit Circle by Balanced Body. But you can also find rings on Amazon or at sporting good stores. Some have a lighter resistance (easier to squeeze) than others. It’s good to try them in person or just go with my favorite from Balanced Body. 🙂 xo

Hi Robin, thanks again for all you do! I am just wondering, for those of us who do not (yet?) have a ring, would this workout still be effective and are there any tips in that regard? Maybe someday I’ll spring for the ring and a roller, but for now I need to use what I have. Thanks so much!

That was exactly what I needed today! I wanted to do Pilates, but I know my son’s nap will be over soon and I simply don’t have that much time. And then I saw this post 🙂 Perfect length, great moves, and I got to use my magic circle! Yay!
I enjoyed that. I’m still loving your routines. Love these short ones. Hope you’ll do more with the rings. Hoping it helps me be more balanced.
