Ingredients
- 3/4 cup brown rice (or quinoa)
- 2 tbsp oil (I use olive or coconut)
- 1/2 lb ground turkey
- 1 tbsp chopped garlic
- 1 tbsp chopped ginger
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 1 cup snow peas - halved
- 4 carrots - sliced
- 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 2 tbsp rice vinegar

Instructions
- Cook rice (or quinoa) according to package directions. Meanwhile, add the oil to a large skillet. Add the turkey, garlic, and ginger. Cook until browned while breaking turkey up with a spoon.
- Add the rice, peas, snow peas, carrots, hoisin sauce, and vinegar to turkey mixture and cook until turkey is cooked through. Serve in a bowl and enjoy!
What can i use in please of Hoisen Sauce?
Hi Jodene! A couple substitutions you can try are tamari/soy sauce, liquid aminos, or miso paste – or you can choose to leave it out. ?
