Ingredients
- 1.25 lbs ground pork or turkey
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 cup pine nuts
- 1/4 cup currants or raisins - chopped
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic - chopped
- 1 bunch kale - washed, stems removed, and chopped
- salt + pepper

Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the pork/turkey, pine nuts, raisins/currants, cinnamon, 1 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon pepper. Form in 20 walnut-sized meatballs and place on a foil lined baking sheet. Broil, turning once, until cooked through, about 6 minutes each side.
- While meatballs cook, heat oil and garlic over medium heat. Add kale and sauté until tender. Serve meatballs over a bed of kale.
