Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Whisk the scallions, oil, lemon juice, honey, tamari, and garlic together in a small bowl. Pour marinade in a zip-lock bag and add salmon. Turn to coat. Let salmon stand in marinade at room temperature for 15-20 minutes.
  2. Remove salmon from marinade, arrange fillets skin side up in a pan or baking dish. Using a slotted spoon, scatter the garlic and scallions from the marinade over the salmon. Season with salt and pepper. Bake until opaque, approximately 20-25 minutes depending on you oven.

  1. interested to hear any suggestions for what to serve this with. – my go-to would be new potatoes (salad potatoes) and green beans.

    UK translation/conversions
    – scallions equivalent the green part (only) of spring onions, or chives when in season.
    – tamari is gluten-free soy sauce (Very simply put, Tamari soy sauce is traditionally made with little or no wheat, where as wheat is one of the 4 common ingredients in regular soy sauce.)
