    1. Hi there! How many pancakes is really dependent on how big they are. This recipe calls for six small pancakes which would make one serving approximately three pancakes. But no matter the size you make them, one serving is about half of the recipe!

  1. I enjoyed the pancakes and certainly will make again. I do have a question. I found the batter very thick. Does the size of the banana matter? I buy small bananas. Would this make a difference in the thickness of the batter? Next time I would thin it more with milk.

    1. Hi there! Banana size certainly could impact the recipe and thinning out the batter with more milk is a great idea. 🙂 We’re glad you liked this recipe!

Ladies! Highly recommend you give these pancakes a whirl! I’m not a great chef ?‍? but I continue to have success with most the TBL recipes I try.

These pancakes are dense (so don’t expect light and fluffy like normal pancakes) but they have a delicious flavour. Made it for my family and both my boys and husband ate them with fruit on top. They would make a grab and go snack too.

We loved these. These are now my new fave pancake recipe. We made buckwheat ones for so long, but these ones are now our go to’s! Thank you – my three year old loved them too ❤️

Hi Ellen! We don’t currently include caloric information or nutritional facts (as we want to focus more on the whole, anti-inflammatory ingredients and how they nourish our bodies). However, we understand that many people need access to nutritional information for health purposes and encourage the use of apps such as MyFitnessPal if needed. 🙂

I’ve been making these pancakes once or twice a week for the last month. I love them – filling, healthy, and easy! I like to add a few chocolate chips to each one too 🙂

Made these with my 6yr old daughter this evening, such a quick treat that we enjoyed so much! Hubby loved them too! We added chocolate chips and a little coconut sugar to the mix, with honey in top. YUM!! New favorite!!
