Instructions
  1. Start by heating a large skillet over medium heat with coconut or avocado oil. Add the ground turkey and saute until completely cooked through.
  2. While the turkey is cooking, add additional oil to a large stockpot over medium heat and add the garlic and onion. Saute for 3-5 minutes or until translucent.
  3. Add the cooked ground turkey to the pot with the garlic and onion and add the bone broth, cubed sweet potatoes, and chickpeas. Bring to a boil and then reduce to a simmer and cook for about 20-25 minutes or until the sweet potatoes are tender.
  4. Add the chopped spinach or kale, turmeric, ginger, salt, and pepper. Stir well. Cool and pour into a serving bowl. Enjoy!

  1. Is there an option to print recipes? I can’t seem to get print function to show up. I like to work from paper copy!

Hi! Yes – first you’ll want to log into your account on our website and then go to the Recipes section in your Dashboard. Next, choose the recipe you want to print, and look underneath the recipe photo and over to the right. There should be a print icon that you can click on, (along with a heart, shopping cart, and calendar icon.) ?

That shouldn’t be the case, Richelle! If you can please send us an email at [email protected], our team will be happy to help troubleshoot so that you can print out your recipes. ? Thank you!

I substituted another cans of beans(black) for the ground Turkey. It was quite yummy. Perfect for a chilly winter’s dinner!

  6. I used some leftover turkey I had in the freezer from Thanksgiving and it was delicious! Perfect for the cold winter days!

  7. Could this work in the crockpot or Ninja Foodi? Would anyone know how to change up the directions to make it work?

Hi Tasha! It depends on the specific appliance, but yes this recipe would be great in a crockpot!
