Any suggestions for flavor substitutes for non-ranch lovers? We just do not do ranch in our house, but I’m not sure what else to flavor this with. Maybe Italian dressing???

    1. I’m thinking a creamier dressing would work better with this dish, so if the fam isn’t into Ranch, maybe try something like Thousand Island or even a creamy Caesar dressing

Hi Katie! You can omit it or use another seasoning/dressing you enjoy, such as Italian, BBQ, pesto, tahini, etc!

I’m thinking of trying it with pesto, I can’t have dairy and it it so tough finding non-dairy options in my town…

      1. I make a delicious dairy free ranch & it takes 5 minutes.

1 cup mayo (I use vegannaise, but use whichever brand you like)
1/4 cup coconut milk from the can
        1 tablespoon dried dill
        1 teaspoon garlic powder
        1 teaspoon onion powder
        Salt/pepper to taste

        1. Thank you for sharing this Courtney!! Sounds simple and I am pretty sure I have all of those ingredients!

I’m realize this is from a year ago, but I found a dairy free pesto from Trader Joe’s that is wonderful!

  2. I second Jackie’s recommendation of pesto. I love combining ground turkey with pesto and I think it would be really tasty in this dish!

  3. My family gave this recipe a thumbs up last night. Delicious! I substituted spinach for the kale because I had some spinach I needed to use up, but it was very good.

This was the first time I have had kale and used a gluten free pasta. It was a delicious dish.
