Any recommendations for banana?a free option as I can’t pallet them . . .
I’m thinking maybe frozen avocado? . . . Thoughts??
We’ve only tested it with bananas, so can’t vouch for any other ingredients, Samantha. But avocado or frozen riced cauliflower might be good options! If you try it, let us know how it goes. 🙂
Delicious!! I didn’t have match powder, but added a blend of turmeric, maca and lucuma spices instead. I needed to add a tiny bit of oat milk so it blended smoothly in my Nutribullet, but it was a quick, easy and healthy brekkie. I might add a bit of vanilla protein powder next time, to boost the protein content.
Ooh those are great ideas, Joanna!
Can any leftovers be stored in the refrigerator?
Hi Jennifer! This smoothie bowl recipe is best eaten right away. ? Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator – just be aware that the texture may change, and ingredients might separate/need to be re-blended.
Is there a way to find out the calorie count for these recipes?
Hi Mary! There are some great free app options, such as MyFitnessPal, for plugging the ingredients into if you want to take a look at the calorie count and/or nutritional information. ?
