Are calories listed with recipes somewhere?
Hi Lora! We don’t currently include caloric information or nutritional facts (as we want to focus more on the whole, anti-inflammatory ingredients and how they nourish our bodies). However, we understand that many people need access to nutritional information for health purposes and encourage the use of apps such as MyFitnessPal if needed. ?
That’s great!
What type of collagen powder? I’m completely new to all this- not sure where to start! But I do want to make this!!
Hi Arlevia! Personally, I like Correxiko Marine Collagen Peptides and Rae Vegan Collagen Boost. There are many different collagen peptide brands out there, and we recommend you give one (or a few!) a try to know which you like! When you do, please let us know your favorite. ?
Is full fat coconut milk from a can, or is like the Califia coconut milk the same thing??
Hi Wendy! Full-fat coconut milk in a can is a bit different from coconut milk in a carton/bottle. The canned coconut milk is more concentrated than the carton milk. We recommend using the concentrated version for the smoothie consistency, but if you do use milk like Califia coconut milk, please let us know how you like it! It sounds like it will be just as delicious. ?
Can you use unsweetened almond milk instead of coconut milk?
You sure can, Cheryl!
Yay- I finally made this today for a fun afternoon snack and it was deeeeelicious!! I used peanut butter since I didn’t have almond butter. Nice and cold and creamy treat! Sorry- but I ate both servings! Haha!
That sounds so yummy, Arlevia! Glad you enjoyed this recipe. ?
For the almond butter used in most of your recipes; is it sugar free? I frequently buy a vanilla flavored almond butter – but that wouldn’t go with the savory dishes! Thanks!
Hi Samantha! The recipes are usually made with sugar free almond butter. However, we encourage you to use what you like best! Vanilla flavored almond butter actually sounds like a great substitution to this recipe. 🙂
This was delicious! My kids loved it too!
Yay, Lauren! So glad you and your kids enjoyed this recipe! 🙂
