Needed 3-4x more water than called for to come together to pudding texture in blender, but tastes great!
I really like this one! I’ve made chocolate avo pudding before using a different recipe that uses coconut oil, which is fine at first but once the rest goes into the fridge, it separates. So I appreciate that there’s no coconut oil in this. I like the inclusion of the banana too. And I top it all with extra sea salt and sliced almonds. Will definitely be making this again.
Also, as far as needing extra water, I needed maybe an extra tablespoon, but I used an immersion blender and it worked well.
Love the topping additions, Michelle! So glad you like this recipe. 🙂
I loved this! Used chocolate almond milk instead of water, and yes I needed more than what was above (maybe if my avocados were more ripe?). But DELICIOUS. I’m prepping this before my period going forward!
A great idea to use chocolate almond milk, Jenny! So glad you liked this recipe. 🙂
I just tried this recipe (enjoying it as I’m typing…) and it is extremely delicious! I didn’t use the blender at all, and didn’t add any water either. I mashed the banana and avocado with a fork, and smoothed it out with an old electric hand mixer. The texture was perfect to me, maybe not the perfect pudding texture if you’re a purist though. Topped with walnuts and blueberries. Yum! Will do it again!!
Yay! So happy to hear how you liked this, Emmanuelle! 🙂
Thanks for mentioning the old electric hand mixer. I don’t have a food processor but I do have the hand mixer so now I will be trying out this recipe.
That’s great, Amy! We hope it turns out yummy for you! 😊
