Instructions
  1. Start by preheating the oven to 350 degrees F and lining a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Add the sliced apples to the baking sheet and drizzle with raw honey and sprinkle with the pumpkin pie spice. Bake for 15 minutes, tossing halfway through.
  3. While the apples are baking, add the rolled oats and almond milk to a stockpot over medium heat. Bring to a boil and then reduce to a simmer, cooking for about 7-10 minutes or until the oats are cooked and you are left with a creamy porridge.
  4. Once the apples are cooked, add half to the bottom of a bowl and then top with the cooked oats.
  5. Top the oats with the rest of the sliced apples, drizzle with the maple syrup, and top with the pecans. Enjoy!

Maybe try pre-cooking the applies and the oats. Leave them separate in the fridge and combine the morning you want to eat it with the other ingredients. Good luck!

  1. I made this in the microwave. I would not recommend that at all. Microwaving oats in water works out fine. Microwaving oats with milk is not a success story. I will try again using water, and adding more chopped pecans to increase the protein level.

  2. I seem to need some direction as to how to add items into the menu planner and generate shopping lists. I have added a few recipes, but when I look at the menu planner for the week, I don’t see them there. Could you please advise? Thank you!

  3. The apple pie oatmeal is great

But, I am glad I looked at the complete directions. I only used half of the milk. I don’t like really creamy oatmeal. I like it more dry. It is filling and delicious.

Hi there! We don’t currently include caloric information or nutritional facts (as we want to focus more on the whole, anti-inflammatory ingredients and how they nourish our bodies). However, we understand that many people need access to nutritional information for health purposes and encourage the use of apps such as MyFitnessPal if needed. ?

  4. My goodness this was delicious! It was so filling that I had to put half of it in the fridge to enjoy tomorrow. Thank you!
