Instructions
  1. Add the acai, frozen banana, unsweetened coconut milk, and protein powder (if using) to a high-speed blender and blend until smooth.
  2. Transfer to a serving bowl and top with desired toppings.
  3. Enjoy!

  1. Question about acai bowls in general: I have the frozen acai puree but when I blend it with a frozen banana it’s still quite soupy. Does the addition of a milk thicken it? I’ve also heard of using avocado. Anyone try that?

      Great question, Nicole! I can speak from personal experience: I only partially thaw the acai and when I blend it with a frozen banana, it is a good texture for me. Adding avocado could be a really interesting fix! I’ve also heard adding additional frozen fruits may help. If you find something that works for you, please let us know! 🙂
