Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. In a small bowl, whisk together lemon zest, lemon juice, garlic, olive oil, 1 tsp sea salt and 1/2 tsp fresh cracked black pepper. Place salmon in the middle of the baking sheet with asparagus on both sides. Spoon sauce over salmon and asparagus. Gently toss the asparagus until fully coated. Bake for 15 – 20 minutes until salmon is cooked through and asparagus is tender.
