Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F/176°C. Line a tray with baking paper.
In a medium bowl, combine oats, flour, flaxseeds, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt. Set aside.
In a small bowl, combine the butter (or coconut oil), vanilla, maple syrup and apple sauce. Add to the dry ingredients, stirring to combine.
Fold in the apples and almonds.
Drop ~2 tbsp mixture onto the tray and flatten slightly.
Bake for 11-13 minutes, or until golden. Let cool on a wire rack and enjoy!
